Accessibility statement
1) Introduction
We are pleased that you have visited our website and thank you for your interest.
Below you will find information on the accessibility of our online offering.
We will inform you about
- what offer and functions you expect on this website,
- how you can use this offer and its functions,
- what options for barrier-free use are available to you and
- which authority is responsible for monitoring accessibility on this website.
2) Offer and functions of this website
This website is an online store for the sale of goods and digital content.
Goods are considered to be physical objects.
Digital content, on the other hand, is data or data sets that are created and provided in digital form.
Products are presented here that can be added to an electronic shopping cart and then ordered and paid for.
This website has a header and footer menu.
The products we sell are listed by category in the header menu and can be accessed individually from there.
Each product is described on a separate detail page with further information about its key features, scope of delivery, and total price. From there, it can be added to your shopping cart.
You can also access the electronic shopping cart via the header menu once you have added at least one product to it. From this shopping cart, you can initiate and complete the electronic ordering process.
In the footer menu, you will find links to our imprint with our contact information, as well as information on the legal basis of our online offering, delivery and payment options, and links to other helpful service pages.
3) Explanations on the use of the offer and the functions
3.1 Virtual buttons
This website can be operated via virtual buttons.
3.2 Home, overview and detail pages
On the homepage, you'll find a selection of available products in the central section. Interacting with a product presentation takes you to the product details page.
In the header menu you can navigate between the different product categories.
After selecting a category, you will be taken to an overview page where all products in that category are displayed.
By interacting with a product presentation on the overview page, you will be taken to the product detail page.
In addition to all essential information about the product and the total price, the product detail pages may contain a quantity selection element and a shopping cart button.
If available, the desired order quantity can be specified using the quantity selection.
3.3 Electronic shopping cart
By clicking the shopping cart button you add the product (in the selected quantity, if applicable) to the electronic shopping cart.
This electronic shopping cart can be accessed at any time via the header menu.
Here, you can first review the added products. Using the corresponding buttons, you can remove products or, if applicable, change the order quantity.
3.4 Electronic ordering process
After verification, you can complete the electronic ordering process by interacting with the appropriate buttons.
To do so, you will first be asked to enter your contact details (at least name, email address and delivery or billing address) using the input mask.
In the next step, you can then choose between the available delivery or service options.
Finally, you can choose one of the available payment methods, enter the necessary payment details and complete the order.
The order is only bindingly placed when the designated button on the final order page is clicked. It is labeled "Buy," "Buy now," "Order with payment," or another clear phrase.
Before clicking this order button, you can use the "Back" button on your browser to navigate back to the previous steps and/or cancel the order process at any time.
If you have chosen to pay using an online payment method, you will be redirected from the final order page to the payment provider's system to make the payment.
4) Legal requirements for accessibility
As an online shop, this website is considered to be a so-called “electronic commerce service” and is characterized by electronic ordering and payment options.
Special legal requirements regarding accessibility apply to them.
In general, this website must provide features and procedures that are tailored to the needs of people with disabilities and enable usability with digital tools.
The online shop functions of this website must
- perceptible
- operable
- understandable and
- robust
be designed.
Perceivability means that the information and components of the online shop are presented in such a way that they are easily perceivable for all users.
Usability requires that the functions of the online shop can also be used by users with limitations in mobility or understanding.
Comprehensibility requires that the information and functions of the online shop are logically structured, easily recognizable and unambiguously labeled.
Ultimately, robustness requires that the content and functions of the online shop can be used reliably and without restrictions, even when users use digital tools.
If products are for sale in the online shop that are subject to their own accessibility requirements, information on accessibility must be provided for such products - where available.
5) Available aids for barrier-free use
This website meets accessibility requirements through the following measures:
- Alt texts for images: Images in the online shop are equipped with alternative texts that provide a short description of the image and can be processed by screen readers.
- Font size adjustment: The font size of the page content can be adjusted using the settings to make it as visible as possible for every user.
- Color contrast adjustment: The color contrast of the page elements is adjustable. It can be increased or decreased.
- Mouse and keyboard usability: The online shop functions can be operated with both a mouse and keyboard. The mouse pointer can be moved and operated using the keyboard's control keys.
- Browser-independent page display: The content and functions of this website are available in identical layout, orientation and resolution regardless of the browser used.
- Cascading Style Sheets (CSS): A programming language is used that separates the presentation of page content in terms of layout, color, and design from its content structure. This allows digital tools to use their own visibility schemes to display page content.
- Sufficient spacing between characters: Characters are displayed with sufficient spacing between them so as not to impair readability.
- Compatibility with screen readers: The contents of the online shop are compatible with all common screen readers (screen reading aids) and can be read and processed by them.
- Responsive design (adaptation to different screen sizes): The dimensions of the content, elements and functions automatically adapt to the size of the screen used.
- Scalability (visibility when magnified): Page elements and content remain readable in high resolution even when magnified.
- Strong color contrast: A strong contrast between the colors of characters and backgrounds is preset to ensure optimal visibility of page elements.
- Text alerts for missing input fields: If mandatory input fields are left blank, a text alert will be displayed in addition to a color highlight. This alert clarifies which information is missing from the input field.
6) Note on content that is not fully accessible
We are continuously working to make our digital offerings accessible. However, we would like to point out that some features are not yet fully accessible. These include, in particular:
- Loox Reviews
- Ecomposer
- UpPromote
- Lantern Quiz
These areas are currently being revised. We aim to make these features accessible by Q1 2026.
